Online Services

Patient Access is an online service provided by EMIS Health

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.

Whether you are at home or work, you can quickly log on to view, book and cancel appointments via the patient access website or by downloading the patient access app for IOS and Android

Available 24 hours a day, it’s especially useful when the practice is closed or telephone lines are busy.

Ask at reception for a registration form and then visit: patient.emisaccess.co.uk/register/document

Please note:

You need to have an existing patient access account to use the app.

Double appointments are not permitted to be booked using online services; any double appointments booked through patient access will be treated as a normal 10 minute appointment slot.

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

Detailed Coded Records:

If you wish to apply for access to your detailed coded record then please ask at Reception and they will provide application forms on request or direct patient to application form online. Patients will also be given a leaflet on the benefits and risks to Detailed Coded Access to Records.

Once you have completed an application form then please hand this into our reception desk.

Please note you will require 2 forms of identity alongside your completed application form for identity Verification.

Umbrella Medical aims to process all application within 28 days from date of application. in some circumstances there may be a delay in access to records. Where a longer period is anticipated the patient will be informed.
